About

I am the construction crew Leader at the Botanic Gardens and work with horticulture and natural areas staff on a variety of projects. I am responsible for the installation of donor gifts and memorial benches. I also install and maintain the boardwalks and stairs throughout our natural areas and gardens. I guide the maintenance and repair of structures and keep current on safety standards. I work closely with our landscape architect and horticulture staff to implement and build structures made from natural woods and stone. I’ve been doing landscape construction and stonework for more than 24 years and enjoy building and rebuilding at our various sites. It can be challenging at times, but is very rewarding once completed.
